Despite the fact that sports and art are often framed as antithetical, there exists massive overlap between the world of professional sports and the creative industries. I wanted to design a jersey which could exist as a bridge between my passion for football and my community at RISD.

To advertise the upcoming jersey release and future Midnight Soccer sessions, I reached out to two extremely talented RISD illustrators, Jack Zhou and Annie Ren. Their brief was to design a character (or two) wearing the Midnight Soccer Jersey in a dynamic pose of their choosing, which I then composed a poster around.
